LIBIDOBLAST® contains some of the following: Muira Puama, L-Arginine, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Folic Acid and Zinc.

LIBIDOBLAST® relies on simplicity to boost sexuality, using a minimal amount of extracts. We find Muira Puama and L-Arginine are the two extracts that show the most promise in terms of increasing sexual function. L-Arginine is a precursor of nitric oxide (NO) in the human body, and, in fact, it is needed to create erections. Supplementation with this element has been shown to enable some men to increase their sexual function; although according to our findings, it is not as effective as Yohimbe. L-Arginine has also been shown to play a role in women’s sexuality, which may be why it is used in this formula rather than Yohimbe.

Muira Puama is the other major component of this formula; it is also known as Potency Wood or Ptychopetalum Olacoides. It is indigenous to the Amazon River basin, where it was used traditionally as an aphrodisiac. However, according to our findings, it works best when teamed up with Catuaba, another Brazilian aphrodisiac. In fact, some experts indicate that “nothing compares with Catuaba and Muira Puama used together”. This combination has been shown to be highly effective in easing impotence, or ED. We feel it is unfortunate that Catuaba is not used in this formula, because it would have taken it to a higher level of effectiveness.

It is normal to have some erectile issues from time to time – stress, over work, worry and illness may all affect erectile function. However, when it becomes more chronic, it is called erectile dysfunction, or impotence. During the course of a normal sexual experience, the brain sends a message to the nerves of the penis, which in turn prompts the release of neurotransmitters that signal the corpora cavernosa to relax, expand and fill up with blood.

This occurs because the veins that usually drain the penis of blood constrict and shut off blood flow, thereby causing an erection. However, problems with blood vessels, nerves or tissues of the penis may interfere with an erection occurring, which is when erectile dysfunction comes into the picture.

In a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, 43% of women and 31% of men suffer from some kind of sexual dysfunction. So this developer leaves out Tribulus Terrestris, a natural testosterone enhancer, which is clinically proven to increase sex drive, libido, stamina and erectile functioning.
