Lipo-6 gained its name because the manufacturer says the formula contains 6 powerful ingredients. According to online descriptions, Lipo-6 contains the following ingredients: Coleus Forskohlii, Caffeine, Yohimbe, Citrus Aurantium, Bioperine and Carnitex.

As a whole, the Lipo-6 formula contains ingredients that are often used in the diet industry and could be found in a vast assortment of other products. We were disappointed to see that one of the “key” six ingredients in this formula included Caffeine. There is no doubt that Caffeine has made quite the impact on the diet industry, but we have found that the high-quality diet products are evolving away from the stimulant-based approach. The reason for this departure is mostly due to the associated jittery and nauseating side effects linked to Caffeine-based products, but is also due to the fact that Caffeine has not been proven to generate lasting or significant weight loss.

The Lipo-6 formula also contains a non-stimulant fat burner in the form of Citrus Aurantium, which is also available in a patented version known as Advantra Z. For the most part, the reviews for this supplement were mixed, but we did come across a number of negative reviews. These reviews mostly focused on the fact that results were not as advertised and also on the uncomfortable side effects that the reviewers attributed to Lipo-6.

Though, as mentioned, we do feel there are more advanced and comprehensive formulas available on the market. The Lipo-6 formula does not contain a proven appetite suppressant, like Hoodia Gordonii, which we feel is especially powerful when combined with the above mentioned Advantra Z, and we do suspect that this may limited overall results.
