The formulary Longz uses includes the following amino acids and herbal extracts: Horny Goat Weed, L-arginine, Guarana, L-taurine, Maca Root, Oat Straw, Ginseng, Catuaba, Miura Puama, Oyster Meat, Nettle Leaf, Orchic Substance, Cayenne, Tribulus Terrertris, Astragalus, Sarsaparilla, Licorice Root, Pumpkin Seed and Boron Citrate. We will briefly review a few of the more interesting ingredients.

Maca Root is found in the Andes of Peru and is similar in composition to a grain or a cereal, containing protein, minerals, iron and fatty acids. It is used in Peru as a food source, somewhat like porriage. It is believed to have some libido enhancing properties.

Nettle leaf is considered to be a diuretic, as well as a useful in treating coughs. It is also believed to have blood cleansing effects.

Cayenne is often included in many weight loss formulas due to its purported metabolism boosting effects. It is also considered to be of aid to the circulatory system.

Horny Goat Weed is used in Chinese Medicine for centuries to treat fatigue and to augment sexual strength. Some animal based studies have suggested that Horny Goat Weed may restore testosterone levels to typical levels, which may explain the stories associated with this herb reporting increased sexual function.

Oat Straw has traditionally been used as a grain, known for its energizing effects, as well as being rich in nutrients.

Longz is purported by its manufacturer to be a male enhancement system which will make erections “feel” longer and harder, aid in performance issues and create stronger erection. We have carefully reviewed this formula to see if it can indeed deliver on these promises. This product contains many herbal extracts and amino acids, which have very little, if anything, to do with helping to achieve better sexual fitness. Astragalus, Nettle Leaf, Cayenne, Oat Straw and Licorice Root are all excellent herbs and grains, which for the most part can help with general overall health, but they are not known sexual enhancers. Nettle leaf for example is an exceptional blood purifier and has certain antihistamine properties. However, these herbal ingredients may make you “feel” better in general.

We thought it was excellent that Longz included Muria Puama in its formula. It is a bush found in Brazil, traditionally used, with first-rate results, to improve libido and increase sexual potency. We were also happy to see that they also included Catuaba Bark Extract in their product. Catuaba Bark Extract has been used by the indigenous people of Brazil for generations with good results.

Nevertheless, we would have liked to have seen this formula contain a more modern male aphrodisiac, such as Damiana, also known as Turnera Aphrodisiaca, an herb from Mexico, which is used extensively in Holland as a proven male aphrodisiac.

Longz would be a good product for men looking for a formula based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. This product is in many ways a tonic-like formula, using herbs which have more to do with overall health, rather than aiding in sexual enhancement. In general, we believe, this product may make you feel better in terms of your everyday life, which may also help with your sex life.

However, this product does contain two very promising herbal supplements to aid in enhancing male sexual fitness, Muria Puama and Catuaba Bark Extract. When these extracts are used in the proper quantity and are of a good quality, they have been shown to help with creating better erections. The addition of Muria Puama and Catuaba Bark Extract, in this formula may account for the claims of erections “feeling” longer and harder; although, there is no herbal formula which will actually enlarge the penis. We would have liked to see this product contain a newer aphrodisiac, such as Damiana, in its mix of ingredients.
