Muira Puama is a potent Brazilian aphrodisiac, commonly used to treat symptoms of impotency both traditionally and in herbal extracts taken as dietary supplements. The herb has also been used as an antidepressant and is thought to support the central nervous system.

Panax Ginseng is widely used in herbal formulas for male enhancement.
