Men Alive™ contains Cervi Velvet for increased stamina, Ginseng Root for enhanced energy, Eucommia Bark as a pain reliever, Rehmannia Root for improving energy levels, Lycium Fruit to enhance fertility, Cinnamon Bark and Cinnamon Twig for their antioxidant properties. Poria is a fungus extract that is thought to support the immune system and Angelica Sinensis is commonly used to treat menstrual symptoms.

Cervi Velvet is extracted from the growing antlers of male deer or elk; it is thought to increase virility and delay senility, support the immune system and also has diuretic properties. Side effects that have been associated with its use include chest pain, rashes or other skin irritations

Eucommia Bark is extracted from a small tree native to China also called “rubber tree” because there is latex in the bark. The extract is mainly used to treat lower back or knee pain and is thought to have anti-aging properties.

Ginseng extracts are often included in male enhancement formulas; they are effective in increasing stamina, virility and promoting circulation.

Cinnamon has been shown to have antioxidant properties and may help lower blood cholesterol. The spice has also been used to treat diabetes by supporting healthy blood sugar levels.

Millions of men all over the world experience symptoms of impotency at some point in time. The Bulgarian herb Tribulus Terrestris has been clinically shown to effectively support healthy testosterone production, and daily supplementation can help restore this important male hormone to youthful levels.

Obviously the formula for Men Alive™ was not effective since the product has been discontinued. While it appeared to have some aspects for supporting health in both men and women, the formula most likely was not fully supportive of sexual function.

We appreciate that it attempted to aid in sexual function for both males and females, but the reality is that each reproductive system works differently, and to be truly supportive, the supplement must provide the required elements necessary for restoring sexual health. An aphrodisiac may work equally well for both sexes, but as mentioned, testosterone levels in males may affect sexual function. A formula strictly for men that contains the potent extract Tribulus Terrestris will guarantee improvement.

For men concerned about sexual health and performance, a “unisex” product will not be effective enough. Products that contain extracts to aid in erection strength and support testosterone levels will be much more effective, and there are products that contain Tribulus Terrestris along with other high quality herbs available for the most beneficial support in sexual function.
