Neophase contains: Rhizoma Curculignis, Radix Curcumae, Aromaticae, Rhizoma Belamcandae, Rhizoma Acoori Graminei and Fructus Liquidambaris.

In general, this product uses ingredients, which are not easily recognizable to most consumers because they are based on Chinese theory. Names such as Rhizoma Curculignis, Radix Curcumae, Aromaticae, Rhizoma Belamcandae, Rhizoma Acoori Graminei and Fructus Liquidambaris may well seem exotic and look good listed in the formulary, however, the real question is are they effective. Let’s take a look at some of the abilities of these ingredients.

Rhizoma Acori Graminei is also known as Grass leaved Sweetflag Rhizome and it has been used in Traditional Chinese medicine to treat Insomnia, abdominal distension, anorexia, amnesia, tinnitus and poor appetite. It has no ability to increase sperm count or increase sexual pleasure. Rhizoma Belamcandae has been used to treat respiratory problems such as asthma and dyspnea; yet again it has little use in the male sexuality arena. Radix Curcumae is also used in this formula and it is usually used in conjunction with other Chinese herbs to treat restlessness, manic-depressive psychosis, liver issues and circulation problems. Finally, it too has no known use in boosting sexuality; as is the case with most of the ingredients used in this formulary.

In general, we do believe that herbal extracts that are geared toward boosting male sexuality can be extremely effective; however, the ones that are the most effective are not used in this formula. For instance, Epimedium, which is also called Horny Goat Weed, has been used for centuries in China to help increase sexual potency, desire and virility, as well as a method of ending erectile fatigue. If this ingredient was used in this formula we would have applauded its abilities, it is regrettable it was not included.

Panax Ginseng has always played a role in Chinese medicine and in boosting male sexual performance, because it has been shown to be able to increase sex drive and stamina, as well as having an extremely positive affect in sex organs. Yet once again this ingredient was not used in this formulary.

Neophase may well be attractive to those consumers who are looking for a product based on Chinese medicine; although it does not use ingredients from that particular system, which have been proven to produce results in boosting male sexual potency or ability.

As mentioned earlier this product does not use the two heavy weights used in Chinese medicine to boost virility, stamina and potency or reduce erectile fatigue - Panax Ginseng and Epimedium. This formula also lacks an herbally based testosterone booster such as Tribulus Terrestris and an erection enhancer such as Yohimbe Extract; which is extremely unfortunate for anyone who decides to give this product a try.
