Plexus’s formulary contains Vitamin E, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Zinc, L-Arginine HCI, Epimedium Sagittatum, Saw Palmetto Berry and Tribulus Terrestris extract. It also makes us if a proprietary blend, which includes the following ingredients: Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba, Avena Sativa, Hawthorn Berry, Maca Root, Ashwagandha Root Extract, Catuaba Bark Extract, Deer Antler Velvet and Muira Puama Stem Extract. We will briefly review a few of these ingredients below.

Saw Palmetto is a class of Palm Tree, which can be found in the Southeast part of the Atlantic Coast. It has a widespread history with Native Americans as an herbal stimulant and energy enhancer.

Vitamin B6 is a member of the B vitamin family. It is included in formulas such as this one, because a deficiency in B6 may affect sex hormone receptors.

L-arginine is a semi-essential amino acid which is believed to have certain blood vessel calming effects, which could result in better flow of blood to the penis. We believe more studies need to be conducted on this amino acid.

Ginkgo is an herb which has customarily been used to aid with improving memory; on occasion, some men who take it for this report that it may have improved their sex life, which is most likely due to its circulation increasing effects. This information is anecdotal and needs to be researched further to see if it really aids in sexual fitness.

Deer Antler Velvet is the initial stage of deer antler growth, which has been purported to contain collagen, glycosaminoglycans, and glycoproteins. Manufacturers suggest that this ingredient can be replenished in humans by taking this ingredient in a supplement form. It is also hyped as being an anti-inflammatory agent. It also, advertised as being good for a great many ailments and conditions such as cancer, immune issues, and wound healing, as well as being a male sexuality enhancer. There has been little research conducted on this supplement. We believe extensive testing needs to be conducted on Deer Antler Velvet

Plexus’s formulary uses three excellent male sexuality boosters: Epimedium Sagittatum, Catuaba Bark Extract and Muira Puama Stem Extract, all of which have been used with very good results to increase male sexual function.

Epimedium has been used for centuries by Chinese doctors to relieve male sexual fatigue and to boost virility. Muira Puama Extract is also called Potency Wood, which has been used extensively as a sexual strengthener and erection enhancer. Catuaba Bark Extract is a potent male aphrodisiac from Brazil, which has been shown to have excellent results in increasing sexual stamina and libido. Nonetheless, we have no idea what concentrations of these herbs are used in this formula. Unfortunately, these herbs work best when administered in standardized doses.

However, we were astounded at the how many “filler” herbs are used in this formula, which for the most part, have little, if any, affect on boosting male sexual function; herbs such as Ginkgo Biloba, Avena Sativa, Hawthorn Berry, Maca Root, Ashwagandha Root Extract and Deer Antler Velvet.

For instance Ginkgo Biloba is excellent at enhancing memory but not sexual function; and Ashwagandha Root Extract is a great tonic herb used to boost overall health but it has no affect on sexuality. This is the case for all the herbs listed above-they make you “feel” better in a general way but not in sexual way.

We believe that holistic supplementation can help men who have sexual dysfunction regain their sexual fitness, if they use ingredients which specifically target this issue. However, there are no holistic supplements; including Plexus, which can increase penis size, regardless of what is hyped by manufacturers.

We were glad to see that this formula used a combination approach in its formulary, however, we do not think this herbal mix is potent enough to be a sure fire way to regain sexual health. We would have liked to have seen this formula make use of powerful herbs such as Yohimbe Extract and Damiana, two proven sexuality enhancers. Yohimbre has been used extensively to enhance erections, in terms of hardness and strength; and Damiana is an aphrodisiac, which has had excellent results in boost virility.

Plexus uses a great deal of “filler” herbs in its formulary. These filler herbs have no affect on increasing male sexuality. Overall, we would have liked to have seen less filler herbs in this formulary and more herbs which target male sexual dysfunction; such as Yohimbe Extract and Damiana. However, we were glad to see that Plexus does utilize Epimedium Sagittatum, Catuaba Bark Extract and Muira Puama Stem Extract in its formula. These herbs have been shown to be able to help increase male sexual fitness.

In general, we believe holistic supplements, such as Plexus, can play an intricate and vital role in helping men suffering with sexual dysfunction regain their sexual health; although, there are no known holistic supplements which can increase penis size.
