Sustevol

Sustevol contains three anabolic compounds - 4-Androstene-4-chloro-17a-methyl-3b,17b-diol, 2a, 17a-dimethyl-17ß-hydroxy-5a-androstan-3-one and 17a-methyl-17ß-hydroxy-5a-androst-2-ene.

Sustevol is purported to employ a compilation of enzyme-blocking herbs, such as DHB, Buplerum and Hoelen, which are used to bind with, and remove destructive CYP and P-450 liver enzymes from the body. This is because it is believed that these enzymes are responsible for obliterating anabolic compounds before they get into the bloodstream. If this supposition is proven to be true, then this mechanism would allow “the active anabolic ingredients to travel into the bloodstream with little or no interference, increasing the effectiveness of anabolic agents”.

We find little proof that these herbs may actually accomplish this task. However, in human trials, a formula containing bupleurum reduced symptoms and blood liver enzyme levels in children and adults who were diagnosed with chronic active viral hepatitis. Also, in one study, it was shown to assist individuals with hepatitis C, and is being studied as a method of decreasing the risk of people with chronic viral hepatitis to develop liver cancer.

While these results are promising, this ability does not instantly translate into an innate ability to enable the body to process anabolic elements more effectively. We would have liked to have seen some research posted supporting their suppositions. When this information is lacking, we find it is usually because none exists.

We like to see that this website seems honest regarding the side effects that may occur while using Sustevol, In general, they indicate that the side effects are relatively mild, but they may include a heightened sense of agitation and a potentiality for increased levels of aggression in some people. Luckily, they also include that there may be some “minor” physical side effects - some of these products actually illicit side effects that cause breast enlargement, hair loss, acne or water retention. However, we tend to be extra cautious, so we would have liked to have seen some research posted to support their claims that Sustevol only causes minor side effects.

However, men who are seeking an effective sexuality enhancer may be disappointed in the results they get. We tend to prefer more focused products which use a multilevel approach to boost sexual function.
