TestroGel

TestroGel contains some of the following: SD Alcohol, Deionized Water, Sodium Acrylate / Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate, Isohexadecane, Polysorbate 80, Androstenedione, Progesterone, Phenoxyethanol, Liposomes, Di-Indolemethane, Grapefruit Seed Extract and Chrysin.

As noted above, TestroGel uses Androstenedione and Progesterone in this formula to try to augment hormone levels. These elements are known in the industry as prohormones. Androstenedione in particular is featured in this formula because it is the precursor of an anabolic steroid testosterone. Prohormones, such as Androstenedione, have been used by athletes and body builders to augment their muscle size, strength and endurance, while also reducing body fat levels. These hormones increase testosterone levels, so often sex drive increases as well.

However, these Prohormones may have very similar side effects as anabolic steroids, which is concerning to us. Many men, when they are seeking to increase testosterone production to build muscle, will ignore these side effects, but some of them may be counterproductive to increasing sex drive and sexual attractiveness. Some of these side effects may include: acne, hair loss, dermatitis, headache, hypertension and prostate swelling. In one Dutch study, it was also found to have some unwanted psychological effects. Experts often express concern that these elements may also cause extreme aggression.

Androstenedione is estrogenic in nature, which means that it may create some gender related side effects in men and women. For instance, men who use these elements may experience breast enlargement, which may cause a great deal of frustration and self-consciousness.

While we believe the use of TestroGel is problematic on many levels, we believe that increasing testosterone levels may assist some men in increasing sex drive, virility and libido. Some men experience dips in testosterone levels due to stress, poor nutrition or age. It is said this decline in testosterone may cause reduced sex drive, muscle mass and bone density, as well as lowered erectile functioning.

Our findings show that rather than chancing the side effects associated with products, such as TestroGel, many men have started using products that contain Tribulus Terrestris, a natural testosterone enhancer. Tribulus Terrestris instigates testosterone release in a much more natural fashion, by increasing the body’s own ability to increase luteinizing hormone (LH), a hormone that directly influences virility, sex drive and potency.

In clinical studies, Tribulus Terrestris was given to 200 men who were suffering from impotence, and after taking this extract, they experienced greater sexual performance, as well as increased LH and testosterone levels. Also, when it was given to men who were dealing with reduced sperm count, it was shown to result in improved concentration of sperm, amplified sperm motile, and, in some cases, an increase in the volume of ejaculation.

For men who are more interested in building muscle mass than increasing sexual performance, TestroGel may seem like a viable answer, if they are able to find a site that still has some in stock. However, for men who are more interested in getting their sex lives back on track, there are other methods that have been found to be far superior in terms of results, as well as having high safety levels.

As noted above, Tribulus Terrestris has been shown to be an extremely potent testosterone booster, which safely and naturally increases the body’s ability to increase testosterone without estrogenic side effects, which includes the development of breasts. This side effect in particular has been connected to the use of Androstenedione, the primary ingredient in TestroGel.
