TestroxinGel Review Summary |
Testroxin™ Gel is found on many bodybuilding websites as a way to augment and optimize a workout routine. It is also reputed to increase libido and sexual performance. These are the kinds of gels many of us have seen bodybuilders rubbing into their skin before they begin working out, in an attempt to boost their androgen levels, which may increase the overall intensity of their workout.
NutraSport, the distributor of other gel-based products, such as Cutting Gel™, has released Testroxin™, but it has recently been discontinued. The reason for this development has not been disclosed at this time. Nevertheless, it is still available through some online sources, and for this reason, we will take a careful look at its formulary.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
|
Androstenedione is the primary ingredient in Testroxin™ Gel, and in the past, it was used in many dietary supplements, and was often referred to as “Andro” or “Andros”. In the 90s, it was commonly used in major league baseball, but its use was eventually banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, and the Olympic Games. In 2004, the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2004 was introduced into the United States Senate, seeking to add both anabolic steroids and prohormones on the list of controlled substances. This law took effect in January 2005.
However, prior to that, the United States Food and Drug administration banned Andro, due to the side effects associated with its use. This is not an issue the developers of such products usually raise, for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, these side effects are very real. One of the more visible aspects of these side effects is said to be that Androstenedione is partially converted into estrogens, so the individual using this element may experience some estrogenic side-effects, such as gynecomastia - the formation of breasts in men.

Many of the websites that market Testroxin™ Gel fail to post its formulary, no doubt partially due to the issues surrounding the elements used in its formulary. At first glance, we thought that this formula contained Tribulus Terrestris, an extremely safe, yet potent, herbally-based testosterone booster. But, upon further review, we are disappointed to discover that it doesn’t.
We find this is unfortunate, because Tribulus Terrestris, besides being a natural testosterone enhancer, contains many healthful elements, including saponins, polysaccharides, sterols, flavonoids and fatty acids. It has also been shown in clinical studies to increase testosterone levels by going to the beginning of the testosterone chain. It increases and aids in the production of the luteinizing hormone (LH), a hormone which has been shown to directly affect testosterone production. Our findings show that men who use Tribulus Terrestris usually report an increase in virility, sex drive and potency.

 | Final Thoughts |
|
We understand how the idea of using Testroxin™ Gel may be appealing, due to the claims made about this product. However, we do not believe the potential health risks of using Androstenedione-based products are worth the potential results. This is especially true, because there are other equally effective elements available that directly affect sexual functionality. As noted above, Tribulus Terrestris has an intense and direct ability to increase testosterone production. However, what we failed to mention is that it is often teamed up with Yohimbe, which has been used to effectively increase the hardness, fullness and frequency of erections.
Our findings show that the combination of these two extracts is extremely effective, rendering the need for products that contain Androstenedione obsolete. This is especially true given Androstenedione’s potential side effects, which include the development of “breasts” in men. It is possible to find an effective formula with this combination online, and some even come with a money-back offer.
