V-Max HP™ was designed to stimulate increased sexual energy by expanding the blood vessels that instigate increased blood flow to the penis. The ingredients outlined above were probably chosen because they are purported to increase vasodilatation in the penis through various methods. V-MAX HP™’s developers chose to use L-Arginine, an essential amino acid, which cannot be manufactured by the body on its own. L-Arginine is used to augment the production of an enzyme called Nitric Oxide Synthase, which plays a vital role in creating erections.

In several studies over the past decade, Nitric Oxide has been shown to augment erections in dogs, cats, rats, rabbits and primates. These animal-based studies have shown that long-term oral administration of L-Arginine may have a positive effect on erectile response. However, what is important to note about these studies is that they show that oral supplementation may assist - not topical administration, which is a point this developer fails to note.

This formula also uses the herb, Gingko Biloba, to increase vasodilatation. However, as of review, its use in this arena has not been shown to be effective, and its use relies upon anecdotic stories that suggest it increases sexuality. However, to date, it has not been scientifically proven to create this effect, but it has been shown to ease dementia and other memory related issues.

Lastly, V-Max HP™ contains “VEP Protein”, or what they call “Vaso Erectile Peptide”, however, there is very little information provided on this site at this time regarding what it is, and there is little information available in general regarding its possible abilities in this arena. Many developers will include elements that they suggest are effective, but which may lack any kind of scientific validation.

As per the retailer’s website, V-Max HP™ is applied by putting 8-9 drops directly on the penis, with warm water 30-40 minutes prior to having sex. However, it is not applied to the penis head, only the shaft. Many men like this kind of product because they feel as if they are actually doing something to improve their sex life. However, as of review, there is a very limited amount of research available regarding the viability of this delivery method.
