Viastim-SE contains some of the following ingredients: Yohimbe, Yohimbine, L-Arginine, Passion Flower, Epimedium - Horny Goat Weed, Tribulus Terrestris, Muira Puama Extract, Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa and Cnidium Monnieri.

Yohimbe has been used for generations to increase sexual function, and as an aphrodisiac for men. Modern science has actually supported its use in this venue. In fact, researchers found that it increased penile blood flow, as well as augmented the levels of cGMP in the penis – both of which is needed for optimal erectile functioning. L-Arginine has been used to increase erectile functioning, but it may not be nearly as effective as Yohimbe at increasing nitric oxide production.

Due to its name, Passion Flower may seem like a potent aphrodisiac, however, its name actually refers to the “passion of Christ” and is not a sexual innuendo. It has been used traditionally to address sleeplessness, epilepsy and hysteria, as well as other ailments and conditions. We find the most troubling aspect of this element is that it contains toxins, which have been shown to kill cancer cells, but this toxin has not been shown to be safe for humans.

The fact that it contains Yohimbe, Epimedium and Tribulus Terrestris make it very appealing, because they are all potent sexuality boosters. However, it also uses other possibly weak extracts, such as Passion Flower Extract, which may actually make individuals feel sleepy, instead of sexually vigorous.

Also, this formula contains Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa, an inadequate aphrodisiac, which has been connected to the potential for toxicity. We feel there is little reason to use this element when there are other, more potent elements available, such as Damiana, which is a true aphrodisiac. It grows extensively throughout Mexico and Central America, as well as in the Caribbean. It has been used to augment libido, virility and sexual stamina. In fact, in Holland, it is used nationwide to boost sexual functioning – safely and intensely. Research proves it also works incredibly well with Yohimbe, Epimedium and Tribulus Terrestris.
